ROBIN
This charming arcade game was
designed with an arcade construction
set by Juergen Reichenwallner of
Germany. The program requires a
color monitor in low resolution.
The program requires a special
disk setup. Prepare a formatted
floppy disk with a folder
called "EDITFILE". In this folder,
place the files "ROBIN.ALL",
"ROBIN.PC1", and "LIBRARY.SFX". On
the _root_ directory (_not_ in the
folder), place "RUNGAME.PRG",
"DESKTOP.INF", AND "ROBIN.SCK".
The "DESKTOP.INF" file contains
information to tell your computer
that "RUNGAME.PRG" is an "installed
application" that should be run
whenever a ".SCK" file is opened
from the desktop. Your computer
will need to read the "DESKTOP.INF"
file in order to have this vital
information, so reboot your computer
with this disk in the boot drive
(normally, Drive A).
Now it's time to load the game!
Double-click on "ROBIN.SCK" from the
desktop. Place a joystick in the
joystick port. Press the fire
button to begin. Your joystick will
control a mother bird as she eats
flies and collects baby birds from
nests. She should look out for
hazards such as spiders and candles.
The game ends if she is singed/stung
by the hazards three times.
To quit the game and return to the
desktop, press the <ESC> key on your
ST keyboard.
Happy computing!
